The name is the owner’s local joke: "tu Żur", meaning here, in the village of Żur near Osie. Two twin year-round cottages for 4-6 people, each with a fireplace, stand on the edge of a ravine with a stream, next to the hosts’ villa. It is a small-scale place for couples, families, and small groups who value quiet; the host, Marzena Fryszka, also cooks slow food based on ingredients from local producers.
Area & Activities
tuŻur lies in the eastern part of the Tuchola Forest, within a Natura 2000 area. The Żur Reservoir, an artificial dam reservoir of about 440 hectares created by damming the Wda, is in the immediate neighbourhood. Tleń, with its promenade and restaurants, is about 10 km away, and Świecie about 20 km.
