Jeleniec stands in a forested part of the Tuchola Forest by the Wda, surrounded by Wdecki Landscape Park. Bicycle and kayak rental is available on site; Wda trips start several dozen metres away. Nearby are the silence trail, mushroom forests, and the Jezioro Piaseczno reserve.
